About me

First of all, thank you for visiting my website. I’m a 26 year old landscape photographer from germany. I started with photograhy in 2020. The first two years I tried different categories like portrait, street, wildlife, travel and of course landscape photography. The reason why I chose landscape photography is that I can identify with it the most. The world is so big and so diverse. A specific place can have many different faces. Spring, summer, autumn, winter, sunshine, fog, rain and snow let a place appear completely different and that is why landscape photography is so versatile and unpredictable. You never know exactly what you'll end up going home with and that's what makes it so attractive in the end. You can't just choose the weather you like to have, you have to be in the right place at the right time to be successful. This requires a lot of planning and knowledge about the location and the weather.

For some people this may sound very stressful and annoying not having the control but having to live with what you get and I have to agree. It's not uncommon that you have to visit a place several times to get exactly the conditions you had in mind and often you only have one or two attempts because that place is several thousand kilometers away. There is a very high probability that you will come home empty-handed. In the end, it is the successes and also the failures that make life. If we only went up, we would no longer perceive the special moments as special but as everyday life. In order to make such moments special, you also need failures.

Like most of us, I still have a day job and photography takes up a lot of my free time so in the end there isn't really much time left to do anything else. The rest of my free time I spend playing video games (much less than I want to but good games a rare), doing stuff with my girlfriend and watching series. If you want to get to know me better and stay up to date for my newest work, I recommend you follow me on Instagram, as that's where I'm most active. The last thing left to say is thanks for taking the time and reading all this stuff and I hope you enjoying it here and if not i’m always thankful for feedback
